Half doll Adelaide


Adelaide was dress by Dot Wells of Devonport.
Dot chose the pattern by Anlaby Designs 
called Stephanie.
Using bead no.6492 with
 cotton D.M.C. 224
This pattern uses 2 x hanks of beads 
with 1 ball cotton.





Helene's First Half Dolls



The following three skirts were knitted by
 Helene Chelle.
This was Helene's first attempt at knitting the beaded skirts and although she had trouble with the casting on,she persisted and finished the 3 lovely skirts that you see below.



This doll is called Gwendoline,she is dressed in a pattern from Anlaby called Clara Belle of the Ball.
Helene choose beads no.444-DY 
and D.M.C.cotton no.3687
This pattern takes 6 hanks of beads
 and 2 Balls of cotton.



Half doll Coquette wears another dress pattern from Anlaby called 
Annabelle.
The beads used in this dress are no 478 and have been teamed with D.M.C. cotton 796.
The pattern takes 3 hanks of beads 
and 2 balls of cotton.



Helene chose the free pattern from this blog 
to dress the doll Edwina.
Using the beautiful coloured beads no.484 
with D.M.C. cotton no.909.
This pattern take 3 hanks of beads
 and 2 balls of cotton.

Dawns New Dolls

The next two skirts were knitted by 
Dawn Larcombe of Deloraine
Dawn has added to her collection of half doll's,
 Bridget and Frieda.
Bridget


Bridget looks superb in this bride dress by
 Anlaby called Camilla.
Bridget stands at 10 cms (4 inches) high.
The beads that Dawn chose are 512-T
 with D.M.C. cotton Blanc.
This pattern uses 6 x Hanks of beads
with 3 x balls of Perle 8 cotton.


Freida


Standing at 11 cms(4.25 inches) tall,Freida looks stunning in this pattern by
Little People In Porcelain called
Twist and Loops.
Dawn chose Bead no.554-T
Presencia cotton 7636 
This pattern takes 2 x Hanks of Beads
2 x Ball of Perle 8 cotton

Evening Flight for Valerie


Dot Wells of Devonport has knitted another lovely dress for her sister.
The doll is called Valerie and stands at 11cm
or (4.5 inches) tall.
The dress pattern is called Evening Flight 
by Anlaby.
Dot used up some of her left over beads at the bottom of this skirt
and then used Bead no.348 for the remaining part of the pattern.
 D.M.C. cotton no.902
This pattern uses 3 x hanks of beads
2 x balls of Perle 8 cotton.

Freida's Dressed For the Recital In Lemon


Freida looking lovely in this lemon ensemble.
Knitted by Dot Wells of Devonport.
Another pattern from Anlaby called Lottie.
Dot chose Beads no.622 
and a Presencia thread no.1214.
4 x hanks of beads and 2 x Perle 8 cotton are needed for this pattern.

Leanne delightful in Fushia


Dot Wells of Devonport dressed half doll Dominique.
Dot chose this stunning colour bead no.498-DY
to knit this pattern from Anlaby,
and teamed it with a D.M.C cotton no.553.
This pattern takes 2 hanks of beads
and 1 ball of cotton.

Twice as Nice



This lovely duo belong to Dawn Larcombe of Deloraine.
Dawn choose to dress Dorothea in an Anlaby pattern called Dorothea.
This pattern uses 4 hanks of beads with  
2 balls of perle 8 cotton.
Beads are no.454-7 and the cotton is D.M.C. no.783.





 Dawn knitted the skirt below,which was made using her scrap beads and cotton.
The skirt was made using the pattern Florence from Lynette Hendriks.
Dawn did not put the bustle onto the back of the dress,as she didn't have enough beads,but the skirt still came out to be a very pretty adaptation of the pattern.
Dawn used beads no.466  with 
D.M.C. cotton no.995








Charlotte


This beautiful half doll is called Charlotte,
she stands at 12cm (4 3/4 inches) high.
Coral Howe of Tarleton choose to dress her is a lovely skirt pattern
 from Anlaby called Sylvia.
Coral used beads no 469 for main colour,
Bead no.444 for contrast,
Cotton D.M.C. no 796.
This pattern takes 3 hanks of beads
  with 2 x balls of cotton,for the main colour.
1 hank of beads,1 x ball of cotton
 for contrasting beads.
Lace 4.5 cm((1 3/4 inch) wide by 50cm (20 inches)
The lace can be optional.
