Florence In Spring



This sweet doll is called Florence
 she stands at 8.5 cm(3.25inches)
She is dress by Chris Larcombe of Deloraine.
Chris chose the pattern Florence in Spring.
With this lovely combination of 
bead no.651 and D.M.C. no. 402,Florence
certainly looks a picture.
This pattern takes 4 x Hanks of Beads
1  x Ball of Perle 8 Cotton.

Freida's Dressed For the Recital In Lemon


Freida looking lovely in this lemon ensemble.
Knitted by Dot Wells of Devonport.
Another pattern from Anlaby called Lottie.
Dot chose Beads no.622 
and a Presencia thread no.1214.
4 x hanks of beads and 2 x Perle 8 cotton are needed for this pattern.

Lillian dressed for a Promenade


Lillian is dressed for her Sunday promenade
 in the park.
Patsy Sheeham of Latrobe knitted this fine dress
which is only her 2nd attempt
at knitting beaded dresses.
The pattern comes for Karen Artistic Touch
and is called Lovely Lillian.
Patsy used bead no.474.
D.M.C. cotton no.796.
Patsy has yet to add the final touch which will be a small knitted handbag,
which is included on the above free pattern's page.
This pattern uses 4 x Hanks of Beads.
2 x Balls of Perle 8 Cotton.

Lovely Lillian Pattern


Twice as Nice



This lovely duo belong to Dawn Larcombe of Deloraine.
Dawn choose to dress Dorothea in an Anlaby pattern called Dorothea.
This pattern uses 4 hanks of beads with  
2 balls of perle 8 cotton.
Beads are no.454-7 and the cotton is D.M.C. no.783.





 Dawn knitted the skirt below,which was made using her scrap beads and cotton.
The skirt was made using the pattern Florence from Lynette Hendriks.
Dawn did not put the bustle onto the back of the dress,as she didn't have enough beads,but the skirt still came out to be a very pretty adaptation of the pattern.
Dawn used beads no.466  with 
D.M.C. cotton no.995








Lady Eleanor in Blue


Lady Eleanor is dress by Brenda Wildebore.
Brenda chose the pattern Florence
 by Lynette Hendriks.
Together with these beautiful coloured beads no.464 and cotton by Presencia no.3822.
Lady Eleanor looks delightful.
This pattern takes 4 hanks of beads and 1 ball of perle 8 cotton to complete.
Lady Eleanor stands at 9 cm (3.5 inches)

Beth in Blue


 Beth was dressed by Carol Kerr of Devonport.
Carol choose this beautiful pattern,from Little People In Porcelain,called Daphne.
The pattern consist's of a skirt,with a beautiful overskirt,which has a pretty
 frill,which runs around the edge of the overskirt and is topped with a bustle,which adds another dimension to this lovely pattern.
The skirt and overskirt are worked with a main and contrasting colour bead.
Carol chose for the main colour bead no.466 and teamed this with bead no.462 for the contrasting bead colour.
D.M.C. Perle cotton no.995 was used for both the main and contrasting beads.
This pattern uses 4  x hanks of main colour beads,
with 2 x hanks of contrasting colour beads.
2 x balls of Perle 8 cotton.

"Gracious Colleen"


This sweet and gracious doll is called Colleen,
and is dressed by Coral Howe(Tas)
The pattern that Coral chose to dress Colleen in,
is from Belle Bambole and is called 
Angelque Kara.
Coral used beads no.109 for the main colour,
with D.M.C. Perle 8 cotton no.310.
 Beads no.674 for the contrast,
with D.M.C. Perle 8 Cotton no.747.
This pattern uses 
3 x Hanks for the Main colour beads.(Black)
1 x Perle 8 cotton also for the Main colour.
1 x Hank for the contrasting beads
1 x Perle 8 cotton for the contrast colour.
