Gianna off to the Ball



  Gianna looking beautiful in a dress by Belle Bambole 
called Countress Marie  Louise.
This skirt was knitted by Ann Walker of Devonport.
Ann used bead no.387 T
with D.M.C. cotton no.747.
Which makes a very soft 
and subtle combination.
This pattern uses 7 x hanks of beads
and 2 x balls of Perle 8 cotton.

Bev's Half Doll no.2


Bev also knitted this stunning dress.
Sylvia is dressed in a pattern from Karen Green
called Debra Out Strolling.



This stunning skirt is adapted from the pattern
by Karen Green.Instead of knitting the
V shaped top as per pattern,
I just added a knitted waist band,
which is shown in the video in the
tutorials page.
Bev used bead no. 651 and D.M.C. cotton 712
Contrasting bead no.7283.
This pattern uses 2 x hanks of main coloured beads
with 2 x balls of main colour cotton.
1 x hank of beads for contrasting bead.

Dawns New Dolls

The next two skirts were knitted by

Dawn has added to her collection of half doll's,
 Bridget and Frieda.
Bridget


Bridget looks superb in this bride dress by
 Anlaby called Camilla.
Bridget stands at 10 cms (4 inches) high.
The beads that Dawn chose are 512-T
 with D.M.C. cotton Blanc.
This pattern uses 6 x Hanks of beads
with 3 x balls of Perle 8 cotton.


Freida


Standing at 11 cms(4.25 inches) tall,Freida looks stunning in this pattern by
Little People In Porcelain called
Twist and Loops.
Dawn chose Bead no.554-T
Presencia cotton 7636 
This pattern takes 2 x Hanks of Beads
2 x Ball of Perle 8 cotton

Bride Dress for Bridget


This lovely bride dress is knitted by Dot Wells of Devonport for a Christmas gift.
The pattern is call Cascade for Andrea 
by Beverley Orchard.
Dot used beads no.312 with D.M.C. cotton B5200.
Doll is called Bridget.
She stands at 10cm (4 inches) high.
This pattern uses 2 x hanks of beads.
1/2 hank contrasting beads.
2 x balls of perle 8 cotton,1/4 of contrasting cotton.

Evening Flight for Valerie


Dot Wells of Devonport has knitted another lovely dress for her sister.
The doll is called Valerie and stands at 11cm
or (4.5 inches) tall.
The dress pattern is called Evening Flight 
by Anlaby.
Dot used up some of her left over beads at the bottom of this skirt
and then used Bead no.348 for the remaining part of the pattern.
 D.M.C. cotton no.902
This pattern uses 3 x hanks of beads
2 x balls of Perle 8 cotton.

Freida's Dressed For the Recital In Lemon


Freida looking lovely in this lemon ensemble.
Knitted by Dot Wells of Devonport.
Another pattern from Anlaby called Lottie.
Dot chose Beads no.622 
and a Presencia thread no.1214.
4 x hanks of beads and 2 x Perle 8 cotton are needed for this pattern.

Lillian dressed for a Promenade


Lillian is dressed for her Sunday promenade
 in the park.
Patsy Sheeham of Latrobe knitted this fine dress
which is only her 2nd attempt
at knitting beaded dresses.
The pattern comes for Karen Artistic Touch
and is called Lovely Lillian.
Patsy used bead no.474.
D.M.C. cotton no.796.
Patsy has yet to add the final touch which will be a small knitted handbag,
which is included on the above free pattern's page.
This pattern uses 4 x Hanks of Beads.
2 x Balls of Perle 8 Cotton.

Lovely Lillian Pattern


Twice as Nice



This lovely duo belong to Dawn Larcombe of Deloraine.
Dawn choose to dress Dorothea in an Anlaby pattern called Dorothea.
This pattern uses 4 hanks of beads with  
2 balls of perle 8 cotton.
Beads are no.454-7 and the cotton is D.M.C. no.783.





 Dawn knitted the skirt below,which was made using her scrap beads and cotton.
The skirt was made using the pattern Florence from Lynette Hendriks.
Dawn did not put the bustle onto the back of the dress,as she didn't have enough beads,but the skirt still came out to be a very pretty adaptation of the pattern.
