Half Doll's Dresses Designed by Pat

Designed by Pat Anderson (Tas) these two patterns were made using left over beads from other projects.
The first doll is called Elizabeth,Pat used bead no.612 with D.M.C. cotton no.898
The second doll is called Abby, here Pat has used bead no.554T and D.M.C.cotton no.369
Pat has been very clever using the same diamond shaped pattern, that has been varied to achieved the different shape and effect's of each skirt.
An inspiration for what you can achive when using left over beads.

Tip
Although a little time consuming, this tip is good for when you only have small amounts of different colours left over.Place all the coloured beads that blend together into a bowl and then mix, thread them onto the cotton using a beading needle.Surprising what results can be achieve using this method, and of course a one of a kind skirt.
